The RUN2RAIL project will explore an ensemble oftechnical developments for future running gear, looking into ways to designtrains that are more reliable, lighter, less damaging to the track, morecomfortable and less noisy. RUN2Rail WP4 field test at Metro Madrid 3 May 2018 RUN2Rail WP4 field test took place in November 2017 in Madrid. The tests involved the measurement of noise transmission into the vehicle to assist the development and validation of a prediction methodology.
